Spencer Carbery spoke about whether Alexander Ovechkin will go on the road. The striker did not travel with the team to Columbus. Washington will play on the road next week against Dallas and Chicago.
Carbery has not confirmed whether Ovechkin will join his teammates on the trip.
That will be determined at a later date, Washington head coach Spencer Carbery said.
As reporter Tom Gulitti reports, the Capitals will not have practices during the trip. The team will likely only have one morning skate in Dallas on Monday.
